Prep Tips
To prepare the chickpeas, lay them on a kitchen towel or paper towels and rub them well to remove the canning liquid. Moisture inhibits crispiness in the oven!
This helps remove the skins too.

Spread the chickpeas no the air fryer tray in a single even layer.
Air fryer for 5-6 minutes or until done.

What to serve with crispy chickpeas
You can eat these chickpeas on their own as a crunchy snack. Crispy chickpeas also make great addition to other dishes like this broccoli quinoa salad, sweet potato quinoa bowls, and this kale crunch salad.
Storage
Store the chickpeas at room temperature. I keep mine in an open bowl to keep them crisp. I usually finish them in a day or two.
FAQ
To keep chickpeas crispy after baking them store them in a container only loosely covered. This prevents moisture in the container and keeps them crispier.
