Tips for Making air fried chickpeas

  • Watch them closely. Chickpeas can burn easily in the last few minutes.
  • Season liberally for the best flavor.
  • Dry the chickpeas well. This helps the oil and seasoning stick to them and helps them crisp up.
  • Shake them halfway through the cooking time for an even result.

What to serve with crispy chickpeas

You can eat these chickpeas on their own as a crunchy snack. Crispy chickpeas also make great addition to other dishes like this broccoli quinoa salad, sweet potato quinoa bowls, and this kale crunch salad.

Storage

Store the chickpeas at room temperature. I keep mine in an open bowl to keep them crisp. I usually finish them in a day or two.
